He was the beloved husband of Martha M. (Morrone) Bruno.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late James J. and Dominica (Capizzano) Bruno.
James was a teacher for St. Pius School and later for the Town of Griswold, Connecticut before retiring
He was the father of Brett, James III and Drew Bruno and Monique Bruno-Cronin; grandfather of James IV, Summer, Jeanette, Calla, Bella, and Logan; brother of Charles Bruno, Sharon Jones, Eleanor Chimento and the late Arlene Griswold and Gloria Panciera.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown, RI .
