Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Nathan and Evelyn (Goldberg) Fishbein.
After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Brandeis University, he earned a Master’s Degree in Biology from the University of Vermont and Doctorate of Law Degree from Boston College Law School.
Mr. Fishbein was an attorney in Providence for many years before retiring and was a member of Temple Emanu-El.
Survivors include: two nephews, Adam and Joshua Fishbein, and very close friends Christopher J. Kane, his wife Angela V. Kane, and their son Giovanni J. Kane of Providence.
He was predeceased by his brother Hal R. Fishbein and seven uncles.
A Graveside Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick.
Arrangements are in the care of Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, Providence.
