Isaiah Joel Rivas, age 16, of Johnston, Rhode Island passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of Carmen E. Rivas and Anthony V. Harrison, Sr., with whom Isaiah lived.
Isaiah was attending Johnston High School. He was an outgoing kid, he was loved by many and returned the love right back. Isaiah had a smile that was contagious and with him around there was always laughter and joy.
Isaiah loved Bachata, Reggeaton, Dembow music and enjoyed video games and riding his bike.
Besides his parents, Isaiah leaves his siblings, Anthony V. Harrison, Jr., Gisselle Rose Rivas, Isabella Marie Rivas, Lexyannie Edith Rivas, Klarissa Kay Rivas and Joshua Tejada. He also leaves his grandparents, Edith Rivas, Carmen Tejada, Wilberto Tejada and his great grandmother Carmen Alvarado. Isaiah had many aunts, uncles along with plenty of cousins and friends.
You broke our hearts when you left, but you didn't go alone. A part of us went with you that day God took you home.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 8:30 from the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Family and friends may call Monday November 28, 2022 from 5:00-9:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
