Born in Providence he was the son of the late Creighton W. and Gertrude L. ( Butcher ) James.
Mr. James had worked as a floor boy for the former Cable Electric Company in Providence
before his retirement.
Mr. James is survived by his son, Gerald F. James, Jr, his daughter Cheryl James, 2 grandchildren Christopher James and Crystal James, 1 Great Grandson
Zaniel Arroyo, his brothers, Walter C. James and his wife Marie, Dennis A. James and his sister
Lillian G. Cole and her husband Robert.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday March 14, 2019 at 7pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son
Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Calling Hours will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu
of flowers the family is requesting plants instead of flowers so they can be continually enjoyed.
