Frederick Rainone, 78, passed away February 8, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Palotta) Rainone; husband of Camille A (Gizzarelli) Rainone; father of Michael F. Rainone and Valerie A. Costa; grandfather of 5, great-grandfather of 5.
Mr. Rainone retired from the State of Rhode Island Department of Administration, as well as Stop & Shop, after many years of service.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
