Dear Mrs. Weiss,

I just recently heard about Frank passing away.  I was a member of Louisquisset Golf Club but left there several years ago.  Frank was my partner in my first year in the men's golf league.  

There was something very special about the conversations Frank and I would have on occassions discussing things in the business world.  He was always so supportive of the things I was trying to do in my work as a self-employed personal coach.

I remember his first battle with cancer and how his doctor told him at the time he had only weeks to live.  But the truth was that Frank was not ready to leave us just yet.

Years later I remember him describing how he beat that fatal cancer once but if it returned he would not survive it a second time.  He had such a deep and profound outlook at that time.  I asked him if he worried about that possibility very much. His answer was "NO not really. I'm ready to die if it happens."  

It was reassuring in some ways to see how he was able to continue living life as it was and not fear what the future would bring to his doorstep.

I was driving through the complex late last summer and Frank was walking along the roadside.  I stopped to chat for few minutes and as always I felt a sense of special satisfaction for having the chance to see him again.  At the end he said to me "When are you going to come back to the Club? We miss you around here."  I laughed and responded "Make me an offer I can't refuse" and then I drove away. Little did I know that I would not get the chance to see him again. 

Frank will always be a part of the wonderful memories I have from the many years I was a member of the Club.  I will always miss him dearly.

May God help you deal with life without Frank. That's the way he would want you be......enjoying his memory and finding little things to take pleasure in each and every day.

We will never forget the good times that our families shared and I will miss his wit and humor that we frequently exchanged via emails and the phone. Frank will always be remembered and treasured for the efforts he made on behalf of his late brother Herb, and how he reconnected Herb's sons with himself and their cousins.

Dear Saralee and Family,  I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.  May you find a small amount of consolation in how inspired I am by learning about your 52 years of marriage.  Certainly you have been blessed with many years of love from Frank, as well as your family; may you be able to carry this love in your heart forever.  My deepest condelances.

What can be said about Frank that you already don't know. Over the last several years I had the pleasure of knowing Frank at the golf course, he was a gentleman who had a very good sense of humor.
