Cranston: Frank W. Eldridge, 81 of Hemalin Road, passed away on March 2, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Hynes) Eldridge for 59 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter F. and Mary (Ligurski) Eldridge. Frank was the owner of Providence Wire Works, Inc. He later worked for CITI Fence; and was a shop foreman at Providence Steel where he retired from in 2003. He served honorably in the US Army in the Korean War. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing cards and golf. He is survived by his four children, Kim Eldridge of East Greenwich, Karolye Eldridge of Elkins Park, PA, Stephen Eldridge of Warwick, Kristine Sullivan of Nantucket; four grandchildren, Owen and Quincy Sullivan, Olivia Eldridge Browne and Lucy Clingham Eldridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 9:30 am in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial with military honors, will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Friday, March 20, 2015, 5-7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home,142 Centrerville Road, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, MA 02140 in his memory would be appreciated.
