Originally from Cranston, RI, Frank graduated Cranston High School East and later served his country as a paratrooper in the United States Army’s elite 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. Frank was a proud union member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 764. Frank’s 30-year career in the film and television industry started at Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL and then took him to the stages of New York City, to the film capital of the world, Los Angeles, CA, eventually making his way to Atlanta, GA and, finally, to New Orleans, LA.
After retiring, Frank moved to Norfolk, VA to be close to his sister Angela until recently moving back to Rhode Island to be with his brother Chris and sister-in-law, Michelle.
Frank lived his life on his terms; the way he wanted. No regrets. His greatest loves were riding his Harley Davidson, drinking Coca-Cola, and smoking his Marlboro cigarettes while enjoying the sights and sounds of his beloved city of New Orleans, where he felt most at home. Frank was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and his adopted New Orleans Saints.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation of a bag of dog food to a local animal shelter. Frank loved the companionship of animals, especially those that were neglected, particularly, pit-bulls and pit-bull mixes.
His visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral service Friday, April 25, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans' Cemetery, Exeter.
