Florence M. King

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Oliver F. and Ethel May (Taylor) Cronk.

Florence dedicated her entire life to her loving family. She raised all of her children, as well as grandchildren and some great-grandchildren. She was a true angel and the rock for everyone in her family.

She was the loving mother of Darlene C. King, Bobbie-Jo Correia, Jo-Anne M. King, Gary D. King Jr., Oliver C.R. King, and Tracy L. King; cherished grandmother of the grandchildren she raised, Stacy L. Deloge, Peter J. Deloge Jr., Anthony M. Deloge and Andrew S. King, and 14 other loving grandchildren; devoted great-grandmother of 17. She was the sister of Miriam Comeau, Dorothy Castillona, and the late Helen Hassell, Oliver F. Cronk Jr., and John Cronk.

Visitation will be held Friday, 9-10 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
