Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gregorio and Angelina (Ricci) Gerace and had been the wife of the late Enrico DiDino and Anthony Russo.
She was the mother of Gregory T. Russo; mother-in-law and best friend of the late Marjorie A. Russo; grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 6 and 1 grand-dog, Chanel Lee; aunt of several nieces and nephews; sister of the late Mary Voisinet, Theresa Russo, Rose Vallante, Anthony and Raymond Gerace.
As an interior decorator, Evelyn was the owner and operator of Interior Designs by Evelyn DiDino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
