Let's, travel down a road of memories. We will always remember the many trips you took us on. Staying at Lincoln Park, riding the rides until closing, always winning giant stuffed animals that we had to strap to the car roof, a carload of kids, every seat and even the hatchback taken. Jumping the fence at Horseneck Beach and not getting home until 2 in morning. The numerous cross country trips ,the grinders and pizza, on a good check day or when you got that cool job at the chocolate factory and bought home all the "broken " ones.
Fond memories of getting the ponies back into the field, them butting you all the way. Teaching us to play the Millie Bourne card game. Hanging out in the x-ray department at your job, late at night and ordering Tommy's Pizza as we sat looking at all the x-rays. Going on late night work trips for portable x-rays.
The summers with our kids in NH, games , Funspot, and endless swimming. Our numerous funny days of Thelma and Louise. The times when we all bickered endlessly and the times we all laughed, until we cried. Hanging out, watching Grease for the millionth time or laughing hysterically to “Sister Act”. You trying to understand what we were laughing about while watching The “Big Bang Theory”, and finally giving in, and liking the show.
How your kitties loved you, from the late Shadow and your Brady and Papi or as we all referred to them as Ditzy and Bully. They stayed with you until the end.
Your new home, you were so happy to have bought together. It was built with care and you made many memories decorating and planning each room. No matter how much her mind played tricks on her, she always knew who J-lo was, proudly stated her daughter.
Endless memories of Patriot games and Fantasy football picks. Memories of your favorite place to play, the adult arcade (casino) or as you would tell me, visiting the Indians.
You never left a cruise without an adventure happening and everyone laughing about it. Charlie and you enjoyed your years together, cruising the world.
How you loved your sisters and brothers and spoke of them often. The smiles and love you showed your grand kids and great grand kids. You always wanted to make sure you got them perfect gifts. You worried about them all, until your last days. You were so generous to us when we were in need. Most of all, we remember the values that you instilled in us without us realizing it, hard work, compassion for those in need and above all, the will to fight as you fought until the end.
Through the ups and downs you always made us smile and laugh. We will miss the daily adventures, you yelling at our driving and when we come downstairs, seeing you sitting at your computer, waiting to see what dinner the chef upstairs made.
May God have Mercy on your soul, grant all your loved ones ease. From Him we came, to Him we return.
All services were private.
