Edward R. Norberg

Edward R. Norberg, age 85, of North Providence, passed away June 4, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dolores S. (Bucci) Norberg, to whom he was happily married for 56 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward O. and Beatrice (Dube) Norberg.

He worked for Bulova for many years. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox with his wife. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family, taking day trips to Galilee and Newport as well as going to the casinos.

He was the loving father of Dolores S. Day (Steven C. Day Sr.) and Angela M. Norberg; cherished grandfather of Steven Jr., Leanne, and Ryan; and brother of Dorothy Brillon and the late Barbara Willhoite and Carol Cabral. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd, Johnston. Burial will be private.
