Dorothy A. Quadri ( Washington ), 51, of Douglas Avenue died Saturday, April 25, 2009. Born in Jackson , Mississippi , Dorothy was a daughter of Wennie Bell Washington. Dorothy was employed by Rhode Island Hospital, in the Central Transport Department. She was a very lovable woman who affected everyone around her. She treated everyone with respect and always lent out a helping hand. Dorothy was a very outspoken person who believed in standing up for ones self and rights. She will be greatly missed by friends and family. Besides her mother, she is survived by her three children, Victor Quadri, Fancy Quadri, and Sophia Washington, all of Providence, and her three sisters, Lauran, Sandra, and Linda. She was the mother of the late Michael Washington. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 1-4pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited.
