Doreen M. Harrison

Harrison, Doreen M. (Baxter) 54, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Darryl D. Harrison for the past thirty-three years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Geraldine (Winters) Baxter and the late Kenneth Baxter. She worked as a shipping and receiving manager for the IBC Hostess Company for twenty years.

Besides her husband Darryl, she is survived by her three loving daughters, Stephanie L., Danielle M., and Chelsea H. Harrison; and eight siblings, Kenneth Jr., James, Michael, Edward Baxter, Jo-Anne Fortune, Deborah Turcotte, Geraldine Baxter, and Anna Baxter – Pine. Doreen was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10:00 am at the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul, One Cathedral Square, Providence. Burial will be at Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
