Donat "Whitey" Theroux

Donat E. "Whitey "Theroux, 83, passed away on September 9, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Reed) Roberts and son of the late Limas and Regina (LaCroux) Theroux. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean conflict. He worked as a self-employed Lumberjack for many years.Donat is survived by his sons, Mark Theroux, Stuart Roberts and his wife Dianne, L. Willis Roberts, his sister, Diana Harrington, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Donat was an avid boxer and loved to tell stories of his bouts. He was especially proud of his Welter weight championship belt. Donat loved all his animals and had a fondness of feeding the wildlife. Donat enjoyed antiquing and Travelled through much of New England with Sylvia picking up numerous treasures. The summers he spent with Sylvia in Montana were special to him. Donat's family will greet relatives and friends beginning on THURSDAY AT 10:30 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 am.
