Diane F. Volpe

CoventryDiane F. Volpe, 66, of Evergreen Court, died Tuesday at Kent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Volpe. They were married for forty years.Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Gaetano "John" and Antoinette "Jenette" (Marcello) Torti, she lived in East Greenwich for twenty-six years before moving to Coventry nine years ago.Mrs. Volpe was a registered nurse for the Kent County Visiting Nurse Association for several years. Beside her husband, she leaves a son, Richard J. Volpe and his wife, Beth M. Volpe, of West Warwick; a granddaughter, Annabelle F. Volpe; a niece, Stephanie Kelly; and a nephew, Jason Kelly. She was a sister of the late Paula L. Kelly. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 5 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 in her memory will be appreciated.
