Diane R. Feinerman

Diane Roberta Feinerman (nee Herman), 92 years old, of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, died peacefully on April 5th, 2025. Diane attended the High School of Music and Art, received her Bachelors of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and her Master’s (in Gerontology) from St. Thomas Aquinas University.

Diane was a teacher of Arts and Crafts, and English, as well as a substitute teacher in many subjects and grades. Diane led Arts and Crafts at nursing homes later in her career. Diane was active in the National Organization of Women, the Jewish Federation of Women, and other organizations. Throughout her life, Diane cherished art. She painted in different mediums, she sculpted, and she was a prolific quilter.

Diane married Bernard Feinerman (deceased), and she is survived by her 5 children: Donna Feiner, Carl Feinerman, Alan Feinerman, Laura Feinerman, and Ilana Feinerman. She is also survived by her sister, Jill Casty. Diane had 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 1:00 pm at Tifereth Israel Congregation, 145 Brownell Avenue, New Bedford, MA. Burial will be in New Montefiore Cemetery in New York on Thursday at 2:00 pm.
