Dennis J. Herron

CranstonHerron, Dennis J., 56, of Cranston Street, died Wednesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Providence, a son of the late William F. and Georgianna M. (Duffy) Herron, he had lived in Providence most of his life before moving to Cranston ten years ago. Mr. Herron worked in the maintenance department for the Hardiman Company for many years, and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He leaves two sisters; Joyce F. Beutler of West Warwick, Janice A. Wilcox of Warwick, two brothers; William F. Herron and Daniel E. Herron both of Warwick, and several nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late James J. and Robert M. Herron. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 7:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday 5 - 8 pm.
