

Coventry David Tobin Kulisch, 73, of Wisteria Drive, Coventry, formerly of Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2011 at Coventry Health Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen M. (McDevitt) Kulisch. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William F. and Catherine L. Kulisch. Before retirement, he was employed by Lombard Bros. as a truck driver. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an Airman. He was a Communicant of Saint Philip Church in Greenville. He was a friend of Bill W. and co-founder of Nar-Anon Rhode Island Helping Hands Group. David was a member of Teamsters Local #251 and the V.F.W. Post #2929 of Smithfield. He leaves his children ,Lynne F. Kulisch of Glocester, Capt. Gail P. Kulisch U.S.C.G. of Reston, VA, William D. Kulisch of Woonsocket, Karen L. Culton of Coventry and Thomas P. Kulisch and his wife Sherri M. Kulisch of Glocester. He was the proud Pa of his three cherished grandchildren. Brittany, Kelsey, and Kevin Culton of Coventry. He was the brother of the late J. Thomas Tobin, the late Beatrice Papa, and brother to Ellen Fontaine. His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 10 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rte. 117) Warwick at 7:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Saint Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, (Rte. 44) Smithfield. Burial, with Military Honors will be at R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
