David F. DiLorenzo, 61, of Warwick, died on Valentines Day, surrounded by his beloved girlfriend, Marion Card, her son Timothy, and his longtime friend Eric Lombari & his wife Robin.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Andreozzi) DiLorenzo.
David worked as a disc jockey for over thirty years and was a stand up comedian for over 40 years performing at private parties and various area nightclubs.
In May of 2013, shortly after the Boston Marathon bombing, he sang both the American and Canadian National Anthem's at Fenway Park. He was a fan of the New York Yankees, and the Minnesota Vikings.
He worked for NFL films for three years, doing voice overs commemorating Hall of Fame inductees. He was dubbed "the voice of the Hall of Fame."
He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his girlfriend, he leaves three brothers, Jack, Mike, and Ronnie DiLorenzo. He also leaves a niece and four nephews.
The visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday evening, February 29, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick to which relatives and friends are invited. The service will begin at 7:00 pm.
