David “Copper” Aurelio, 88, passed away January 6, 2017. Husband of Evelyn M. (Marra) Aurelio and the late Gina (DiRuzzo) Aurelio; son of the late Albert and Concetta (Volpe) Aurelio; father of David A. Aurelio, Ronald Aurelio, Esq. and his wife Lori, Dante D’Alessio and his wife Lori, and David D’Alessio; grandfather of Gina, Dina, Christine, Dante and Michael; great-grandfather of Patrick Jay; brother of Albert Aurelio and the late Evelyn Cordiere.
Visitation and funeral, Tuesday 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
