Constance Olive Gray

Constance Olive (Neville) Gray, 96, formerly of Thompson, CT, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023, at the Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Freeman Edward Gray. They had been married for 5 years before Freeman’s passing in 1994.

Born in Providence, Constance was the daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (Barton) Neville.

Constance was employed by the EMC Insurance Company for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed shopping trips with her late sister, Marilyn and raising horses with her late husband, but found her greatest joy surrounded by her family.

Constance is survived by her stepsons, Russell E. Gray and his companion, Marcia Altruda, Dennis W. Gray and his wife, Ellen, her niece Rhonda E. Yarborough, her nephew, Robert B. Read, Jr. and his wife Anna, her great nieces, Christine and Heather, five step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Marilyn Read.

Constance’s services were private.
