Scituate-Burdett, Charles (CBJR) of Scituate, died Christmas Day, December 25th, at Rhode Island Hospital, in his 70th year of life, with his beloved wife, Sheila (Glew) by his side. A Cancer survivor for many years , he retired from Rhode Island Country Club due to illness. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Evelyn Burdett. Besides his wife he leaves his two stepsons, James and Joseph Curci, his loving grandsons, Jared and Charlie, along with other extended family members including brothers F. Richard, Robert and George Burdett.Charlie was a Life Member of the West Warwick Elks #1697, Life Member of the Club Jogues and Life Member of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club. He was also a Member of the East Greenwich Volunteer Fire Association and former Member of the Glocester Lions. He was an avid golfer who once made a hole in one.
