Cecile A. (Zoglio) Souza, 84, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis R. Souza, Sr. Devoted mother of Dennis R. Souza Jr. and his wife Elaina and loving grandmother of Rachel Souza.
She was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Zoglio. Sister of Carol Schiavulli (Ralph) and Robert Zoglio (Arlene) and the late Kathleen Robbins. Sister-in-law of Peter Papa and his late wife Anita, and Paulette St. Jacques and her late partner, Vinny. She also leaves behind many Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren and many dear friends.
Cecile was a lifelong resident of Cranston and lifelong communicant of Saint Bartholomew Church and loved doing charity work with her late sister-in-law Anita.
Funeral services and graveside burial in Saint Ann Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
