Carlo M. Russo

Carlo M. Russo, 83, of Old Louisquisset Pike, passed away May 11, 2010 at the Miriam Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michele and Rose (Ciccarelli) Russo. He had been the husband of the late Elsie (Zeoli) Russo.

Mr. Russo was a U.S. Postal worker before retiring. He also was a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

He was the father of Carol A. Kaminski, Brenda Russo with whom he resided, Michael C. Russo and his wife, Marguerite and Carl Russo and his wife, Carole; brother of Frank and Michael Russo and the late Pasquale Russo; grandfather of 3 and 1 great-grandson.

Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 p.m. with a funeral service on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence, followed by entombment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
