Benedetto A. Broccoli

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Benedetto and Angelina (Soave) Broccoli.

Benny was an auto body repairman for many years and was co-owner of Delaine Auto Body for many years before retiring. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a communicant and Eucharist Minister of the former St. Brigid Church for over 30 years and was presently a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.

He was an avid round dancer and a dance choreographer for over 35 years.

He was the father of David Broccoli, Anthony Broccoli and his wife Rebecca, Marie Broccoli O’Gara and her husband Glenn and the late Lori Ann Broccoli Jacques; father in law of Ralph Jacques; grandfather of Ralph Jacques, Jr. and his wife Angela, Justin Jacques and his wife Heidi, Amanda Jacques, Aaron Broccoli and his wife Caitlin and Avery Broccoli and his wife Ariel and great grandfather of Corey, Dylan, Destiny, Elijah, Eli, KerriAnn, Leo, Jackson and Bennett. He was also the brother of Carmella Ruggieri and the late Biagio, Flory and Anthony Broccoli and longtime companion of Rosanne Tessier.

His funeral will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 8:45 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION THURSDAY 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
