Barbara Ann Nassi

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Antonetta (Viccione) Votta.

She was the devoted mother of Colleen DeCarlo and her late husband Anthony, Carl Nassi and his wife Lisa, and Joseph Nassi and his wife Debi; cherished grandmother of Deana Caito (David), Loriann Baccari (Eric), Giana Nassi, Kayla Protano (Michael), Carl Nassi, and Matthew Nassi (Monica). Great grandmother of Ava, Sofia, Olivia, Mia, Ariana, and Sienna. Sister of the late John, Louis and Edward Votta and Rose Colella.

Barbara was a crossing guard in the town of North Providence for almost 40 years before retiring.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
