Anthony J. Vicario, 66, passed away May 8, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Penny Sizemore. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Pietrantonio) Vicario and brother of Grace A. Silvestri. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Anthony was a graduate of Classical High School in Providence and the University of Rhode Island. He was a news photographer for the Italian Echo and was the author of two books. Anthony was the Director of Operations for Lad N Lassie Preschool in Warwick. An avid boatman, swimmer and scuba diver, he spent most of his summers on Block Island.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
