Anne Marie Smith

Anne Marie Smith, 97, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur I. Smith. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie Coltunick. Mrs. Smith was a faithful communicant of Saint Gregory the Great Church and was a member of the Sparrows Point II Association. She leaves her two sons, Arthur F. Smith, and his wife, Solveig, of Charlestown, RI, and Peter N. Smith, of New River, AZ; four grandchildren, Lori Tobby and Donald Hatcher, both of Louisville, KY, Sherri Lynn Briggs, of Slocum, RI, and Janice Lynn Bauman, of Narragansett, RI; and five great grandchildren. Anne was also the mother of the late Jane Peace and sister of the late Mary Coltunick, Michael Coltunick and Barbara Dodge. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Route 117 – Exit 10 off I-95) Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Interment will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
