Anna S. Simeone Dorsi

Anna S. (Simeone) Lefebvre-Dorsi, passed away August 9, 2015. Wife of the late John Dorsi; daughter of the late Augostino and Carmela (Aveta) Simeone; beloved mother of Alfred C. Lefebvre; cherished grandmother of Krysta and Kayla Saccoccio; and sister of Anthony Simeone. She was the mother of the late Carole A. Saccoccio and sister of the late John Simeone and Mary Gliottone.

Anna always valued hard work, education and community service involvement and was well known for her organizational and documentation skills. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree while working full-time at The Department of Education and was proud to be a member of the Rhode Island College Alumni Committee.

Anna was a strong advocate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and was diligent in her efforts towards raising awareness for the cause. She was also a known animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her rescue dog, Bonnie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 12 noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will be private.
