Angelo M. DeLuca, 71, formerly of Providence and recently of Denver, CO, passed away January 25, 2016. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he was a son of the late George and Alice (Faber) DeLuca.
Angelo was the uncle of John Walsh and his wife Faith and Lori Brown and her husband Jason, and the great-uncle of Allison Brown. He was the brother of the late George DeLuca and Frances (DeLuca) Walsh.
Angelo was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam from 1965-1967. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, Class of 1962 and Providence College, Class of 1976.
He worked at the Metacomet Country Club in East Providence for over 20 years before retiring in Denver, Colorado to live with his brother George.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 11-12 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
