Angela Rose Illuzzi

Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late Emilio and Gilda (Matarese) Capaldi. She was the cherished mother of John L. Illuzzi and his fiancée, Sandra Matthews and Susan J. Guerra and her husband, Thomas. Angela was the proud grandmother of Andrew and Alexander Guerra and Nicholas Illuzzi.

Angela was an administrative assistant to the dean of the School of Social Work at Rhode Island College for many years before her retirement in 1993. She was also a member of the Lovely Ladies of Camelot Chapter, of the Red Hat's Society. Angela had a great passion for cooking and showed her love in every meal. She was a true friend to many, but, cherished her family above all.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Forth Street, North Providence, followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
