Alice A. Azarian

Alice A. Azarian, age 86, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Golden Crest Nursing Center with her nephew John by her side.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vagharshag and Shoushanig Kahanoogian Azarian.Before retirement, Alice was employed as a clerk with the Providence Water Supply Board. She was also employed as a secretary for the Providence Police Commissioner, and in earlier years was a sales clerk with the Outlet Co. She was also a member of the Laborers International Union of North America.She was the sister of the late Abraham, Richard, Paramas, and Harry Azarian. Alice was the beloved aunt of nine nieces and nephews, particularly Harry and John Azarian for whom she helped raise and was like a mother.A private service was held on July 3, 2014.
