Albert C. Libutti

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Providence, Albert was the son of the late Luigi and Amelia (Manzo) Libutti; husband of Susan (Crosby) Libutti and the late Anita (Desiderato) Libutti; father of Deanna Goulazian, Gregg Libutti and his wife Lisa, Chris Libutti and his wife Kristen, James Libutti and Nicholas Libutti; grandfather of Adriana, Rebecca, Olivia, Emily, Max, Richard, Ava and Zachary; brother of Joanne Kent.

Albert graduated from LaSalle Academy where he was an All-State football player. He was also a graduate of Brown University where he was a member of the football team and the Delta Phi Fraternity. He remained an active board member of the Brown Alumni Association. Albert was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 – 1969. He spent his professional career in the financial services industry.

Albert’s passion in life was his family. He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. Whether he was watching them compete on sports fields and in hockey rinks, or teaching them valuable life lessons, he was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Funeral and burial with military honors in Swan Point Cemetery will be private.
