North ProvidenceWells, Agnes S., of Douglas Manor, died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles G. Wells. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Seddon) Murray, she had lived on Plainfield Pike, Johnston, for many years before moving to North Providence fourteen years ago. Mrs. Wells was a member of the Saint James Episcopal Church congregation. She leaves two daughters; Charlene A. Wells of Enon, Ohio, Wendy L. Long of Cranston, two brothers; William H. Murray, Jr of Providence, John S. Murray of North Providence, two sisters; Alice Charello of Providence, Elizabeth Zambarano of North Providence, five grandchildren; Matthew and Michael Long, Brian and Brett Shaw, and Tiffany Parker, and five great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late David, James, Alexander, and Peter Murray, and Mary Thacker. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Saturday morning, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Tomorrow Fund, c/o Rhode Island Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903 in her memory will be appreciated.
