Gomes, Adeline E. (Monteiro) age 85 of Oregon St., passed away on June 14th at Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of George A. Gomes. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pedro and Ida (Payne)Monteiro. Besides her husband of over 51 years, she leaves her loving children, Cynthia and Donna Gomes. Sister of John Monteiro and Gertrude Harry, sister of the late Joseph Monteiro. Adeline was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. Her funeral with visitation will be held on THURSDAY, at 9am from the RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a funeral service at 11am in the funeral home chapel.
