Steven Alan Landis

He was born on July 19, 1957 in Akron, Ohio to parents Loren and Carrol Landis. The family moved to Central Oregon in 1963, and Steve graduated from Crook County High School in 1975.

He served 4 years in the Marine Corps as a heavy equipment operator. He also worked on various ranches in Central Oregon as well as logging, millwork, and most recently, he operated heavy equipment.

Steve had a passion for riding and training horses. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and helping with cattle brandings in the Post area. He loved children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Logan Landis of Prineville, Oregon, Amanda Landis of Gresham, Oregon mother Carrol Landis of Prineville, Oregon, brother Clint Landis of Golden Valley, Arizona, sister Lorrie Munson of Bridgeville, California, sister Lynda Jones of Honolulu, Hawaii, and 4 Grandchildren

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Loren Landis.
