Ruth Wheeler

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Ron McMullan will officiate.

Ruth was born March 3, 1922 in Macomb Oklahoma to Charles Elmer & Louisa Jeffery

(Goss) Patten.

On November 26, 1941 she married Allen H. Wheeler in Macomb OK. They moved to Prineville in 1959.

Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and also a cook at the Prineville Elks Club for a number of years. She was very well known for her yeast rolls and pies.

She was a member of the Prineville Community Church, their quilting group and Caleb Friends.

Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband on September 6, 1981. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Locky Ellis, Edith Alkire, Edna Snodgrass and Hazel Hunt and three brothers, John Patten, Willis Patten, and Henry Patten.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Terre and Jim Jones of Prineville,

Charlene and Jim Irvin of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law Gene and Jacque

Wheeler of Prineville, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three

great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
