Robin Russell Ebert

With great sadness, the family of Rob Ebert, wish to announce his sudden passing on April 16, 2012. Rob leaves to mourn his loving partner Margaret Doyle; son Russ (Michelle) Kai, Brady; daughter Brooke; sister Ruth Ebert-Anderson (Andy), former wife and friend Jackie Ebert and his beloved four legged buddy, Sasha. Rob was born and raised in West Vancouver and moved to Prince George in 1970. He has been involved in the local welding industry since that time. He managed Diamond Welding Supplies for 30 years and then founded and co-owned Canadian Cylinder & Gases. Rob loved the water and was an active member in the boating community. In his younger years he liked nothing better than a cold morning and a big mountain to race his snowmobile. His family brought great joy to Rob, especially the sound of his grandsons on the phone. We will miss the sound of his voice, long stories, great wit and hugs always ready. A celebration of Rob’s life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Assman’s Funeral Chapel, 1908 Queensway Street.
