Reiner Rudolph Richter

Reiner Rudolf Richter April 12, 1930- Jan 23, 2018 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. Reiner immigrated to Canada in 1953 with his wife and oldest daughter, where he worked on farms in Alberta until moving to Prince George in 1965. He worked in construction for the next 50 years, starting his own construction company (R. Richter Construction). Predeceased by his daughter Dale Beverly Richter in 1963, and forever remembered by his wife of 68 years Brunhild, his daughters Gudrun (Rod) Balfour, Evelyn (Stewart) Bye, Debbie (Michael) Schlick, and son Mark (Louise) Richter, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, siblings and their families both in Germany and Canada. A celebration of life will take place at his favorite spot, his cabin at Norman Lake, later in the spring. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at Prince George University Hospital who took great care of him and the family over the last year.
