It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Martha Derkson aged 93, on November 21, 2024 with family around her. Martha was a cherished mother, grandmother, and a true friend whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her smile. She enjoyed music and played in a bluegrass band, sometimes performing at different senior care homes during her time living in Vernon.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving children, Daniel and Brenda, her sister, Nettie, five grand children, Kenna, Susan, Glen, Brett, Shane, Lisa, and two great grandchildren, Jewel, and Anthony. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 3:00 - 4:00 pm to remember Martha and say final goodbyes.
