Born February 21, 1924, San Miguel, Azores, Portugal passed away in UHNBC on October 23, 2011.
She is survived by her sons: Manuel (Maria), Fernando (Christa), Albano (Allison); 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her sister: Teresa (John); brother: Jose and numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her husband: Manuel.
A Rosary Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church and a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Prince George Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.assmansfuneralchapel.com.
