It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Shirley Marie Crawford, born January 1, 1949, passed December 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband of 54 blessed years William Crawford Sr. and her devoted sons William Jr. and Greg Crawford.
June had a love of gardening, baking, occasional visits to the casino, and enjoyed getting out of the house to go shopping, much to the angst of her husband, who would most times wait patiently sipping their Timmie’s coffee and reading a book in the car, doing whatever was necessary to keep his wife of 54 years happy.
June is survived by her husband William Thomas James Crawford, sons William Thomas Crawford and Gregory James Crawford (spouse Loriena), grandchildren Riley, Kyle and Kylee, sisters Alvina Ritchie (spouse Dale Ritchie of Mount Uniacke, NS), Joanne Cochrane (spouse Stephen Cochrane of Dartmouth, NS), brothers Richard Perry (Halifax, NS) and Gordon Perry (spouse Jeanette Perry of Mount Uniacke, NS).
June was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Bertha Perry, her brother Bobby Perry, Cedric Perry and Russell Perry.
There will be no service per the family’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the British Columbia Lung Association, on June’s behalf, would be greatly appreciated.
