SCHMID – Anton (Tony) went to be with the lord and his wife on February 7, 2012 at the age of 84. He is survived by his son Joesph; daughter Teresa (Dave), four grandchildren; Cyril, Amber, Micheal and Sasha and great grandson Jackson; sister Erna Reinhart; along with many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jackie, his sister Elisabeth Cobetto, and his parents Andreas and Therese Schmid. Prayer service to be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 887 Patricia Blvd, with a Funeral Mass on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10:00 am. Father Pierre officiating. Interment to follow in the Prince George Municipal Cemetery. Lakewood First Memorial Funeral Home in care of arrangements 250-562-5915. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
