Allan my brother who took such wonderful care of our Mom I miss you so very much.  Allan & Mom came for coffee most Sundays and I find myself still waiting and looking out the window on Sunday wondering where they are.
I think of you everyday Allan and always wish for that one more visit.  
 He loved his nieces and nephews so much and loved the great nieces and nephews just as much.  He loved to watch them participating in their sports.

We were so saddened to hear of Allan's sudden passing, and send much love to Emily & family. Wonderful tribute video ❤️ so enjoyed seeing the pictures, especially Allan's younger years.  We  felt privileged  to have known  Allan for over 45 yrs., and have very fond memories our time together.  When visiting Alex & Heather, we were so pleased that Allan always made an effort to come over to see us (& our mom Molly who loved his visits too). It was obvious how much 'family' meant to him,  especially when we watched him with his precious mom - 'two peas in a pod', taking care of one another, and was completely devoted to his mom and her needs.Over the years, Ted was lucky enough to go on many fishing trips with Allan and he appreciated any  fishing advice that came his way, and enjoyed the fun bantering that went on during those weekends. While fishing, Allan was 'in his element' and know how much he loved these weekends, and especially being with his brother - his 'fishing buddy Alex'.  Would be amiss, without mentioning how much we all LOVED Allan's smoked fish! We know no one will ever come close to perfecting this delectable treat that he so generously shared with us. R.I.P Allan....you will be missed. 

As my son Brian said and I can certainly attest those many ice fishing trips were memorable. But having said that we had many fishing trips that were memorable . Crystal Lake, Cobb Lake, Francois  Lake, Purden Lake just to name a few and our last ocean trip together in 2017.  Rest well my friend I'm sure you have your eyes and ears open looking for fishing spots in your new home.

You were my brother-in-law for almost fifty years and it is hard to imagine you not being in our lives.  Even though we disagreed on practically everything,  I thank you for always making me feel like family. You will always be in my heart.
