Wilma Boone Birch

Ethel Wilma Boone Birch was born on June 18, 1920 and went home to be with her Lord on September 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Pratt and Ethel Durden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by husbands Dolphus Lee Boone and William Birch.

She is survived by her three daughters: Betty Ereckson( Tom Huston) of Atlanta, Georgia, Brenda Waller(Rev. George Waller) of Huntsville, Alabama and Bonnie Westbrook of Atlanta, Georgia.

Also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeff Ereckson, Greg Ereckson, Wendy Childers, Jonathan Westbrook, Christy Feltman, Lisa Waller Rudd, Scott Waller and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Wilma has left us with wonderful memories of a loving mother, grandmother, sister and warmhearted friend. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and her family and friends were very important to her. Her Church was central in her life attending regularly and participating as much as she could until it was necessary for her daughters to relocate her to Atlanta.

Rev. Rick Evans will preside over a Graveside Service for family and friends at the Prattville Memorial Gardens, 10:30 AM, October 3, 2022. She will be laid to rest by her first husband, Dolphus Lee Boone, father of her three daughters. At noon, family will receive friends in the Atrium of the Fellowship Hall, Dalraida Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Dalraida Baptist Church, 3838 Wares Ferry Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
