Susan Rene Geddie

Susan Rene Geddie, 62 a resident of Wetumpka, AL passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023 in the presence of her loving sisters. Susan was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Geddie, her parents Clyde D. Schofield, Irene S. Barnett, and brother Michael Barnett. Grandparents the late Odie & Frances Eggers, and Crawford and Ina Schofield. She is survived by her children Haley Gregory (Richard) of Montgomery, AL and Tyler Geddie (Sanai) Wetumpka, AL., sisters Lisa Sims (Lynn), Anita Harris (Sam), many loving nieces and nephews, with three great nieces and three nephews.

Susan was a 1979 graduate of Robert E. Lee and she attended Troy State Montgomery. Susan was a founding employee of Cintas Corporation and worked as a Customer Service Supervisor for 23 years, until she became disabled in 2019. Susan considered her coworkers to be part of her family. We would like to thank her friends from work for all your visits to see her. She dearly loved her time at Cintas.

Susan loved her family, spending time at the beach with Haley, Tyler and her niece and nephew.

A Celebration of LIfe will be Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the visitation one hour prior.

Our family would like to thank the Merry Wood Lodge staff, nurses, and fellow residence for the kindness and care she received while she was there.
