Sheila Joy Copeland, 70, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away May 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.C. and Addie Belle Copeland. She is survived by her brother, Darrell Copeland (Anita); nephew, Jared Copeland and his children, Jack and Chuck; niece, Laura Pollard and her children, Mya and Zoe.
Sheila taught school for over 30 years and taught over 4000 students. She was a gifted communicator and had the ability to teach and make you laugh. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Sheila will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 5260 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36116, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
