He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Armstrong Sr.; mother, Jewel Anne Armstrong; brother, Ronald Armstrong; and granddaughter, Anne Eubanks. He is survived by his children, Crystal Recher (Jamie Haney), Mary Ann Edwards (Steve), Rebecca Eubanks (Jason), Emily Armstrong, and Kaitlyn Armstrong; grandchildren, Taylor Recher, Alexis Recher, Jaydn Haney, Alexis Haney, Brodie Haney, Gabrielle Edwards (Hunter Thomas), Corey Edwards (Rebecca) and Cole Eubanks, as well as great grandchild, Jaxon Thomas.
Robert loved softball playing and umpiring, football, hunting, anything Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Braves baseball, and Western movies and shows.
A memorial service for Robert will be held at Redland Baptist Church at 1266 Dozier Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36093, on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 am with Jeremy Shaw officiating.
