Mary Kerwood Root

Mary Kerwood Root, age 73, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Mary was born in Syracuse New York to Mary Elizabeth Breeze and William Raymond Kerwood. She was the oldest of five and grew up in Baldwinsville, NY.

Mary was a loving mother to Mary, Maureen, Matthew, and Michelle and a devoted grandmother to Brett, Lauren, Marley, Mary Elizabeth, and Ryleigh. Mary was married to David Root of Tallassee.

Mary was a faithful nurse who lovingly cared for her patients for over forty years. Mary loved hiking, practicing her Catholic faith, and volunteering her time at church and local charities. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
